Stopping the generator
NOTE: Plug appliances into the correct outlet. Connect standard 230Volt, single phase, 50Hzloads to the 230 Volt outlet Connect 12Volt,
DC loads to the12 Voltoutlet.
Tum on the connected electrical devices beginning with the device with the highest rated wattage requiremenl and then each
additional device with the nextlower rated wattage requirement.
A CAUTION
Do not connect 60Hz to this enerator.
DC Usage
A CAUTION
The DC terminal is ont ror rechar in 12 Volt automotive-I batteries. Do not connect an other device to this outlet

Failing touse the correct procedure can cause a battery to explode, seriously injuring anyone nearby. Keep heat, sparks, flame and
smokin materials awa from the ban
To connect 12 Volt batteries to the DC outlet:
1.Connect one charging wire to the positive tenninalofthe battery and the other charging wire to the negative tenninalof the battery.
2.Connect the free endofthe positive wire to the positive side of theoutlet on thisgenerator.
3.Carefully connect the free end of the negative wire to the negative sideof the outlet on this generator. 4.Start this generator.
5. When disconnecting, always disconnect the wires from this generator first to avoid a spark.
Storage batteries emit highly explosive hydrogen gas when charged. Batteries also contain acid, which can cause severe chemical
bums.
Do not allowopen flames or cigarettes nearby for several minutes aftercharging a battery.
AfNays wear protective goggles and rubber gloves when charging a battery.
If battery acid gets on the skin, flush withwater.
If battery acidgets in theeyes, flush withwater and immediately call a physician.

AWARNING
Allow this nerator to cool down before touchi areas that become hot durin o ration.
A CAUTION
Allowing diesel fuel tositin thisgenerator's fuel tank for extended time without use can increase the difficulty in starting this generator
in
the future. Never store this enerator for extended time with fuelin the fuel tank.
