Cleaning Instructions for the Semak Hot Dog Cooker & Bun Spiker
ALWAYS turn off the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
Use a barely damp cloth to wipe the machine once it has cooled.
Due to hygienic reasons the water tray must be cleaned twice a day!
Adverse water conditions and salts, grease and spices dripping from the sausages
form aggressive water compositions that might even corrode metals.
Due to the reasons mentioned above the water bowl must be decalcified at least
once a day as otherwise pitting corrosion at the bowl may be the consequence.
For that purpose, just use a descaler or a water-vinegar-solution.
DO NOT use caustic substances to clean the cooker and do not allow caustic
substances to make contact with any electrical components of the cooker.
Ensure that all parts of the cooker are properly dried before replacing them in the
appliance.
