Communications
Introduction
The SEL-DTA2 is set via serial communications Port 1, connected to a
personal computer. Communications serve the following purposes:
1. The SEL-DTA2 receives display and transducer configurations.
2. The SEL-DTA2 responds, by message, to changes in system
self-test status.
3. The SEL-DTA2 responds to commands for setting the clock
and requests for instrument status information.
Two access levels and passwords protect against unauthorized access.
