Wire Sizes and Insulation

Wire sizes for grounding (earthing), current, voltage, and contact 

connections are dictated by the terminal blocks and expected load 
currents. You can use the following table as a guide in selecting wire sizes. 
The grounding conductor should be as short as possible and sized equal to or 
greater than any other conductor connected to the device, unless otherwise 
required by local or national wiring regulations.
