10 - 2 VOLUME ADJUSTMENT/REPLACEMENT

In case the operability of the Lever left and right is poor and performing CALIBRATION in the
test mode does not improve the situation, the causes may be the failure of the Volume Gear's
engagement in the ASSY LEVER MECHA inside the control panel and or Volume
malfunctioning. Follow the following procedure to perform Volume adjustment or replacement.
Since work is performed inside the energized cabinet, be very careful so as not to touch
undesignated places.

Turn off power and remove the CONTROL
PANEL COVER (10-1).

Loosen the 2 screws securing the VR
BRACKET in the ASSY LEVER MECHA
to push the gear out of mesh.

With the Lever being at the centering
position, bring the gear into mesh so that the
status of the volume's shaft is as shown in
the Fig. (FIG.10.2)

Fasten the screws securing the VR BRACKET.

Turn power on and perform volume setting in the CALIBRATION in the test mode. (9-3)

During the INPUT TEST in the test mode, check to see if the volume value varies smoothly in
accordance with operation of the Lever. (9-3)

Turn off power.

Install the CONTROL PANEL COVER to change back to the former state.
