CLEANING THE SLOW JUICER
TROUBLESHOOTING
The slow juicer should be cleaned after every use.
1. Make sure the slow juicer is turned off and has cooled down, and the power cord is
unplugged.
2. Dissemble the parts using the reverse procedure in the Assembling the Juicer section.
3. Use the Cleaning Brush to clean the parts, including removing excess pulp. Let the parts
air dry or wipe dry with a dry cloth.
Do not use a wire brush to clean the parts, as this could cause damage.

Do not place the parts or the base in the dishwasher.
•
Thoroughly clean the fi lter between uses. Unclean fi lter may clog juicer and cause
•
more pulp in your juice.
4. Clean the Base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse or rinse the Base in water. Let the
Base air dry or wipe dry with a dry cloth.
The slow juicer does not
operate.
Make sure the power cord in plugged into a power outlet.

Make sure the parts have been assembled properly.
•
The juice is not
discharging properly /
juice is discharging from
the Pulp Ejection Spout.
Make sure the orange rubber gasket is inserted into the

Pulp Ejection Spout tightly.
Make sure the parts have been assembled properly.

The slow juicer stops
operating while in use.
Make sure there is not food stuck in the feed inlet. If food
•
is stuck, use the Pushing Rod to push the food through.
Turn the slow juicer to the REVERSE setting for 3-5
•
seconds to unclog the food. Repeat if necessary.
The slow juicer makes
a high-pitched noise
during juicing.
This noise is normal – it is the noise of the motor running
•
during use.
