Cleaning
To clean your VPU, glasses or cables, follow the instructions
below:
1. Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris
from the equipment. Use the compressed air as directed
by the manufacturer.
2. Use a clean, slightly damp cloth to clean the equipment.
Gently rub the areas that require cleaning.
3. Use a clean, dry cloth to dry the equipment after
cleaning it.
4. Use a soft cloth to remove smudges and fingerprints
from the glasses and camera lens on the glasses.
CAUTION: Do not use any cleaning
solutions or solvents to clean the
equipment.
This
may
damage
the
equipment or its labels.
Maintenance
The Argus 2s system does not contain any user serviceable
parts.
CAUTION: If your VPU or glasses are not
working properly, contact either your
clinician or Second Sight for assistance.
Do not try to fix the equipment yourself
