On the carrier board is also embedded an 8-pin Flash Socket, type LOTES p/n ASPI0001-
P001A, for the mounting of I2C EEPROMs in SO-8 format, which can be used to store LVDS
DDC Data (to be used when it is not possible directly the DDC Channel
available on connector CN34).

LCD Voltages and backlight control signals connector
On-board there is also a small connector intended for carrying out power supplies, for the connection to an eventual panel backlight
’
s module. This connector carries
out both LCD voltages and backlight control signals.
The connector, CN25, is an IDC connector, dual row, 10 pin, p2.54 mm connector,
type MOLEX p/n 70246-1004 or equivalent.
Mating connector: MOLEX p/n 22-25-2102 with 70058 series female crimp terminals.
LVDS_VDD_EN and LVDS_BKLT_EN are respectively the LCD panel
’
s and the
Backlight
’
s Enabled signals, controlled by the COM Express Modules directly.
LVDS_BKLT_CTRL is the PWM signal that can be used to manage the brightness of the LCD Panel,
and is controlled by the COM Express Modules directly.
Analogic_Dimming is a +5V signal, derived from the PWM signal LVDS_BKLT_CTRL, for direct
analogic control of backlights not supporting PWM.
Backlight PWM Control signal, i.e. s4ignal LVDS_BKLT_CTRL, can also be regulated to be at +5V_S
or +3.3V_S voltage level, using jumper JP6.
Similarly, backlight enable signal, LVDS_BKLT_EN, can be regulated to be at +5V_S or +3.3V_S voltage
level, using jumper JP8.
