AC Electrical
Switches
AC panel is located above the chart table. Main breaker switch is at the top of the
panel.
House Battery Switch
Located under the chart table. Keep the selector on “1,” as the engine battery switch
is separate. Main DC breaker is also under the chart table above the battery selector
switch.
Battery Charging
Charged by either shore power (make sure AC power and battery charger switch are
turned ON) or by running the engine.
Monitoring Batteries
Monitor levels when using DC services while the engine is not running.
Battery voltmeter is next to indicator lights.
Battery System
Indicator lights below the chart table show which batteries are on. Turn off the starter
battery when the engine is not running, including when the boat is docked. Leave the
“combiner” switch off unless it is needed as an emergency start.
DC Electrical Panel
Located on the left half of the electrical panel, with the main breaker underneath the
chart table above the battery selector switch.
Electronics
GPS/Chartplotter
Access through the “Instruments” switch on the DC panel.
To Use:
1. Turn on the small unit by chart table and the large unit hanging above the galley
sink.
Depth/Speed/Wind
Instruments
Located on either side of the cockpit.
To Use:
1. In main cabin, turn “Instruments” switch on the DC panel to “on”
2. Depth, speed and wind will read automatically.
Sails
Headsail
Genoa that can be furled in to work as a jib. Unfurl slowly on windy days.
Mainsail
Main halyard, first reef, outhaul and boom vang adjustments run to a deck clutch starboard of
the companionway.
Tankage
Water Tanks
Two tanks onboard with a total capacity of 65 gallons (32.5 each)
Tanks are located under each settee in the salon
Fuel Tank
Location:
Under aft berth
Fill Cap
: aft on the starboard side
Capacity
: 21 gallons
Holding Tank
Capacity:
22 gallons
Location:
Under v-berth, forward port side
Pump-out Deckfill:
Located on port midship; labeled “Waste”. Never pump the tank
overboard.
