In this example we have chosen to activate the float switch to input #1, but both entries can
be used for a float switch.
Remember that your alarm has to be status in-active to be able to edit the fields (top button in
the window is red). In the field
”Text” a short text is entered, that indicates the placement of
the float switch.
This text will be sent in Alarm SMS in case of activation of the float switch, when the alarm is
on. It is therefore important that the text identifies the specific float switch in question.
Finally the float switch is activated by ticking off the field next to the text field. This does not
activate the alarm, but tells the Alarm system that a float switch is connected and this will be
monitored, when the Alarm is activated at a later time.
It is recommended to activate the alarm and test that an alarm SMS is sent, if the float switch
is activated.
