Folder name

SMSC address
:
specify the number of your SMS center. This number is
obtainable from your network service provider.
Validity period
:
Set how long you want to store text messages. This
option is useful when a recipient is not connected
to a network and cannot receive your text message
immediately. Use the left or right key to select a value.
Note:
This function varies with the service you have obtained.
Message type:
Use this menu to choose text message format.
Voicemail server
: Normally, you can obtain a voice
mailbox number from your network service provider.
This number enables a caller to leave voice messages
and you to listen to voice messages.
Common settings
: this menu provides three
options:
Delivery report
,
Reply path
, and
Save
sent message
.
Delivery report
informs you
of sent message status, which is either successfully
delivered or failed.
Reply path
enables the
recipient to use the same SMS center as you.
Save
sent message
saves the text messages you have
successfully sent in the
Sent messages
folder.
Memory status
: check the status of text messages
stored in your SIM card or phone. The size of this
folder varies with message content and your phone or
SIM card.
Preferred storage
: choose whether to save text
messages to your phone or SIM card.
