After underwater use
1. Soak and rinse the sealed underwater housing in fresh water for 20
minutes after each use. While holding the housing underwater, push
each button 20 times to remove any sand or debris trapped under the
buttons.
2. Towel-dry the housing. Make sure that you and the housing are dry
before opening and the housing. It is recommended to open the
housing when returning to a cool, dry environment, like an air-
condition room. Do not allow the inside of the housing or the camera
to get wet.
3. Store the camera and housing in a cool, dry environment with the
waterproof door sealing screw untightened.
Removing / Installing the O-ring
1. DO NOT use tools to remove the O-ring. To remove, push down on
the O-ring with your fingertip and slide it parallel to the groove until it
lifts up as shown above.
