electro-magnetic fields from arc welders and induction heaters closer than 125mm.
b) static electricity.
c) thermal shock caused by large and/or rapid ambient temperature change.
d) High temperatures.

get the thermometer wet or use in damp or wet locations or areas where there is condensation.

take readings through transparent materials such as glass or clear plastic. the surface temperature of these materials will be
measured.

2. introduction
detects energy emission in the infrared spectrum and converts into a display of temperature. features a laser pointer, data hold and auto
power off. temperature is displayed on an lcd back lit display for use in low light areas. temperature can be shown in either °c or °f. Pocket
sized design allows the thermometer to be on hand when needed by the user. Powered by a single AA battery (supplied).

Press the button located below the digital display to switch on and take temperature measurement.
4.1.2.
Release the button to show the last reading and see the last Maximum and Minimum readings every 2 seconds. (fig.2)
