4.  opERation

4.1.    

chaRging

4.1.1. 

  

The battery fitted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable  

 

item and its ability to accept charge will reduce over time. We will  

 

warranty it against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of  

 

one year, this does not cover fair wear and tear. If the battery  

 

is not properly charged before first use, or regularly  

 

 

conditioned, its capacity will diminish. Under these circumstances  

 

we will not replace the battery even if it is less than one year old.

note:

 

The torches will flash when the battery gets low.

4.1.2. 

  

Connect the charger into the charge socket on the lamp, see fig.1.  

 

Plug into power supply and turn on, the red charge LED on the  

 

lamp will light as the battery charges. When fully charged the led  

 

turns green.

4.1.3.   

When the battery has fully charged (approx 3hrs) disconnect from  

 

mains supply.

note:

 

The lithium battery does not suffer from memory effect and once  

 

fully charged may be stored for up to six months without another  

 charge.

4.2. 

  

Unfold lamp. Select either directional torch or inspection lamp.  

 

Brightness is controlled by dimmer switch.

4.3. 

  

lamp can be hung from the hook or attached using magnets.

4.4. 

  

When the lamps are docked in the station (LED1801K) you can  

 

turn both of the docked torches on by using the on/off button  

 

 

on top of the unit.

5.  MaintEnancE

5.1. 

  

Keep lamp clean and check for damage before every use. If  

 

damage is observed, remove from use until unit is repaired.

5.2. 

  

The battery is not designed to be removed .

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to 
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely

(Weee). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid 
waste authority for recycling information.
