DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

5.1

Regularly check the drum loader chassis and wheels for rigidity.  Ensure that the rear castor is 
firmly secured to the chassis.

5.2

Regularly check the fulcrum assembly for wear. Replace if necessary.

5.3

Regularly check the drum loader’s connecting components such as retaining pins, nuts and 
washers for lubrication and/or wear. 

5.4

Keep the handle grips free from grease and oil to prevent accidents.

4.1

Lifting a Drum 

4.1.1

Turn the release valve (14) fully clockwise. 

4.1.2

Move the drum loader to bring the bottom of the support frame (50) into contact with the drum.

4.1.3

Repeatedly depress the foot pedal (27) to raise the support frame so that the drum is between 
the fulcrum assembly (47) and the lower part of the support frame.

4.1.4

Ensure that the drum rim is touching the top and bottom sections of the fulcrum assembly.

4.1.5

Push the drum loader against the drum rim, ensuring that the top and bottom claws of the fulcrum
assembly part and grip the top and bottom of the drum rim respectively. Refer to Fig. 4.

4.1.6

Continue depressing the foot pedal (27) until the drum is clear of the ground.

WARNING:

Ensure that the drum position is as low as possible prior to moving the drum loader.

4.2

Transportation

4.2.1

Push or pull the drum loader, using the handle grips (52) to the required destination. Apply pressure 
left or right to steer the drum loader.

CAUTION! Ensure that there are no obstructions in your path and make sure the floor surface is
suitable to take the weight of the fully laden drum loader. 

4.3

Lowering and Releasing a Drum

4.3.1

To lower the drum, SLOWLY turn the release valve (14) anticlockwise and lower the drum until it 

stands firmly on the ground. Refer to Fig. 5.

WARNING: 

To avoid damage to the drum loader or the drum, 

DO NOT

turn the release valve (14) too rapidly.

4.3.2

Release the fulcrum assembly by lifting the top part of the assembly from the drum lip.

4.3.3

Pull the drum loader away from the drum.
