 4.  OPERATION

4.1. 

Insert the input plug into a 24V DC accessory socket. Ensure that the socket is live; it may be that the vehicle key needs to be turned to  

 the 

‘accessory’ 

position 

to 

energize 

the 

socket. 

         

4.2. 

Plug the appliance to be powered into either the 12V or 5V USB socket on the fascia of the converter.

4.3. 

An alarm will sound within the converter if:

 

A) The input voltage drops significantly or 

 

B) The output load is too high.

4.4. 

In case of A): Disconnect the converter and only use again when the 24V battery has been recharged thoroughly.

 

In case of B): Reduce the electrical load to 15A or below.

4.5. 

Allow the unit to cool down after use before returning it to storage.

 

Environmental Protection

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be 

sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.

When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable)

into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.

WEEE Regulations

Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on 

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed

of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
