4.  PREPARATION

   WARNING: 

Before fitting the battery and attempting to start the motor ensure that, if fitted, the blade (fig.1) is correctly mounted.

4.1.    

FIT  BATTERY

4.2.    

BATTERY CHARGE STATUS TEST

4.2.1.   

Press trigger, all LEDs lit: battery charged, one LED (orange) lit: battery needs charging (3 LEDs orange / yellow / green).

4.3.   

 

In order to maintain battery efficiency: 

DO NOT

 fully discharge. After every use fully charge the battery, charge every 4 months    

 

even if tool is not used. If a decrease of performance of the tool is noticed, charge the battery.

5.  OPERATION

5.1. 

  

Ensure that you have read, understood and comply with 

 

all the safety instructions in Section 1.

5.2.    

FITTING  BLADE

   WARNING: 

Remove battery before fitting blade or 

 

maintenance is carried out.

5.2.1.   

To remove the blade rotate Blade Release Collet (fig.1)

 

and withdraw the blade from the Collet. The Collet

 

will spring closed when released. 

5.2.2.   

To insert a replacement blade, rotate Blade Release 

 

Collet (fig.1) and insert the blade into the Collet.The 

 

Collet will spring closed when released. 

5.3. 

  

WORK CLAMP

5.3.1.   

To remove the Work Clamp, depress the Clamp Release

 

Lever (fig.1) and withdraw the Clamp from the saw body.

5.3.2.   

To replace the Work Clamp, depress the Clamp Release

 

Lever (fig.1) and insert the Clamp tab into the saw body.

5.4. 

  

CUTTING

5.4.1.   

Ensure you have fitted the correct blade for the material

 

to be cut.

DO NOT

 switch the saw on whilst the blade is in contact 

 

with the workpiece.

5.4.2.   

Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when 

 

performing an operation where the cutting accessory may 

 

contact hidden wiring or its own cord.

5.4.3. 

  

Use clamps or another practical way to secure and 

 

support the workpiece to a stable platform.

5.4.4.   

Depress the Trigger Lock (fig.2) in either direction and 

 

gently squeeze the Trigger (fig.2). 

NOTE: 

To stop the motor, release the Trigger. The Trigger Lock 

 

will automatically re-engage.

6.  MAINTENANCE

WARNING!

 Remove battery from tool before performing 

 

any maintenance or making adjustments.

6.1. 

  

Remove dust with a soft bristled brush.

DO NOT

 use solvents clean with a soft damp cloth.

DO NOT

 use compressed air (risk of ejection). 

6.2.

STORAGE:

 Store in a child free,dry location.
