3.1. REPLACING A BUSH

3.1.1. Screw the threaded bar

into the bush insertion cup

Hold the cup against the outer face of the trailing arm,
so that the threaded bar protrudes through the bush seating. Slide the bush on to the threaded bar

(Step one).
3.1.2. Locate components

and

on threaded bar

(Step two).
3.1.3. Using a ring spanner, or ratchet wrench, tighten nut

(Step three) until the bush is pressed into the vehicle rear
trailing arm.
3.1.4. Unscrew the bush insertion cup

Remove the threaded bar

from the bush mounting and components
H, D
and
E
from the threaded bar
F
(Step four).
3.1.5. Replace all the components comprising the bush replacement tool in the appropriate slots in the carrying case
(Fig.4).
