2.  INTRODUCTION

 

Solid steel pump and carry handle. Supplied with follower plate to prevent cavitation and ensure smooth flow of grease. Suitable for  

 

repetitive filling of high pressure low volume grease. Suitable for 12.5kg grease buckets. Includes rigid extension and 4-jaw coupler.

4.  ASSEMBLY

 

Unpack the product and check contents. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your local supplier immediately.

4.1. 

  

Unscrew locking adaptor (fig 2 - 2) from pump assembly (fig 2 - 1).

4.2. 

  

Insert pump assembly through drum cover (fig 1 - 1) and secure with the locking adaptor.

4.3. 

  

Remove the bolt and nut (fig 1- 4) holding the carry handle (fig 1 - 5).

4.4. 

  

Assemble the carrying handle with the lever handle (fig 1 - 6) by re-inserting the bolt and lock nut.

WARNING!

 Ensure the bolt is properly tightened to ensure that the carrying handle does not become detached during usage or    

 transportation.

4.5. 

  

Remove the plastic blanking plug in pump outlet.

4.6. 

  

Assemble hose assembly (fig 1 - 2) into pump outlet (fig 1 - 3) located in pump assembly (fig 2 - 2), using a thread sealant.

4.7. 

  

Thread the 3 retaining thumb screws (fig 1 - 9) into threaded inserts, on drum cover, taking care not to protrude through.

4.8. 

  

TO REMOVE AIR POCKETS IN CONTAINER

4.8.1. 

  

T

ake a 12.5kg container of grease and hold the container about 25mm above the ground and taking care allow the container to drop  

 

to the floor, the effect of which will settle the contents.

4.9.    

ASSEMBLY OF PUMP TO THE CONTAINER

4.9.1. 

  

Remove the lid from the container and push the follower plate (fig 1 - 8) into the grease, handle side uppermost, until a small quantity  

 

of grease appears through the central aperture.

4.9.2. 

  

Install the pre-assembled pump unit and drum cover through the central aperture of the follower plate onto the grease container until  

 

it seats firmly and secure with the 3 retaining wing screws (fig 1 - 9).
