5.  operation

5.1.    

Shake gas cylinder for a few moments.

5.2.    

Turn the control knob anti-clockwise for 1/2 turn. Gas should now be “hissing” from the burner tube.

5.3.    

Being sure to point the torch away from yourself and others, press the ignition button.

5.4.    

Adjust the flame by turning the control knob either clockwise (-) or anti-clockwise (+). Recommended inner flame length is 10 - 20mm.

5.5.    

To extinguish the torch, turn the control knob fully clockwise. 

5.6.    

once the torch has cooled, unscrew the cartridge for storage.

note:

   In cold conditions it is advisable to pre-warm the cartridge to room temperature before operation.

6.  trouBleSHooting

6.1.    

If the torch is moved rapidly, tilted too far to the side or upside down, the flame may flare or extinguish. To prevent this, adjust the inner  

 

flame to 6.5mm and let the torch warm up for 3 minutes prior to such movement. Slowly lengthen flame as necessary, once the torch  

 

is in the desired position.
