WARNING! Ensure you read, understand and apply safety instructions before using the blower.
3.1.
Lift by the handle on the main body of the blower and manouvre it into position. Use in any of the 4 positions illustated below. Ensure that there is
nothing in front of the blower that may be disturbed when the blower is switched on.
3.2.
Check that the switch situated in the recess in the rear grille of the blower is set to “0” (OFF). Uncoil the power lead from its stowage
position and plug into the mains power supply. Ensure that the power lead is not stretched or positioned in such a way as to cause a hazard.
3.3.
Turn the blower on by switching from “0” (OFF) to “I”. If a greater air flow is required turn the knob to the “II” or “III” setting (ADB3000 only).
3.4.
When you have finished using the blower ensure you switch to “0” (OFF) and disconnect from mains power.
3.5.
Rewind the lead around the lugs on the carrying handle.
3.6.
When not in use place the blower in its original box, or otherwise protect it from dust, and store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
!
WARNING! Ensure the blower is disconnected from the mains power supply before attempting any of the following:
4.1.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the body of the blower. Do not splash with water and never allow water to drip onto the motor housing.
DO NOT use solvents, petroleum, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the blower.
4.2.
If it becomes necessary to clean the blades or inside the body, remove the rear grille (opposite side to the motor) by undoing the screws.
Wipe with a damp cloth only. Replace the grille and re-fix using the screws.
4.3.
Should the motor, speed control box or the power lead require service or maintenance contact your local service agent.
