Break-In Period
With Sea-Doo watercraft powered by Rotax
®
engines, a break-in period of 10 hours is required
before continuous operation at full throttle. To
achieve a good break-in, vary the engine speed
every few minutes with brief wide open throttle
accelerations of up to 15 seconds. Continued wide
open throttle runs and prolonged cruising without
speed variations should be avoided, this can cause
engine damage during the break-in period.
