Raise fan with downrod assembled to the ceil-

ing bracket and hang fan assembly.  Be sure to

rotate the downrod ball so that the notch in the

bracket engages the slot in the ball.

Attach blade brackets to blades using the blade

bracket screws and washers provided.

Remote receiver

Motor

Make wire connections as per diagram in fig.

11.  Connect the white wire from the Receiver

to the White or Neutral wire from the power

source.  Connect the black wire from the

Receiver to the Black wire from the wall trans-

mitter.  Connect all Green / Yellow wires from

the fan, Downrod and mounting bracket to the

Ground wire from the house. Connect White (to

motor) to White from fan, Connect Black (to

motor) to Black from fan marked , Connect Blue

(to light) to Blue from fan“light kit”, Connect

Gray from remote to gray from fan and Purple

from remote to Purple from fan. 

Connect one black wire from Transmitter to wire

from house wiring leading to the black wire on

receiver.  Connect the other black wire from the

transmitter to black or hot wire from the power

source. Connect green wire from wall transmit-

ter to ground.  Warning: Make sure that all

filiments are inside the wire nut connector.

Before attaching blades; remove the switch housing.  

Install remote receiver by sliding into opening in

the Mounting bracket.  Make sure that the dip

switches on the Transmitter and the Receiver

are set to the same position.  See Fig 23 for

remote operation

Check the motor for plastic shipping stabilizer

tabs, and remove them if they are present. The

screws, washers and motor pads are pre-

installed to the blade holders. Attach blade

assembly to motor and tighten screws securely.

After attaching blades; install the switch housing

using the three screws previously removed.  

Lift Canopy to ceiling aligning the key hole slots

with the screws on the bottom of the Mounting

bracket.  Rotate the canopy Counter Clockwise

to lock in place.  Tighten the screws to secure

the Canopy.  See inset for Keyhole shape

Make wiring connection to fan by mating plug

from fan with plug from light kit.

Set dip switches on the Remote Transmitter and

Remote Receiver to the same settings.  This

must be done so the units will communicate

properly.  If you have other fans you can set to

control from one transmitter by setting both

receivers the same as the transmitter.  If you

have more than one fan with remote.  You can

set the dip switches to different positions to

have seperate control.
