ASSEMBLY & INFLATION
Insert motor mount
transom board into motor
mount grommets.
Transom is easiest to install
when the boat is inflated.
Align the holes for the
bolts one at a time. Adjust
transom as needed for
hole alignment.
Motor and Battery
(OPTIONAL)
Clamp electric motor or
up to a 6hp gas motor
to motor mount before
mounting battery.
Secure battery by
running the Sea Eagle
strap with buckle through
the D-rings. Strap
stretches when wet, check
strap frequently.
Fishing Rig
To assemble and install the
Swivel Seat Fish Rig, please
refer to the supplemental
instructions at the end of
this manual.
Push the 102mm (4”) x M8
bolts with washer through
the grommets and board.
Take care to align the
transom hole with the
grommet.
Pliers are recommended
for holding the bolt heads
while tightening the
threaded knob.
If needed, gently tap the bolt head with a tool.
Caution:
Hammering bolts with too much force can
damage the wood transom.
Scotty® Pad Mounts:
Two pad mounts are
provided. One in the bow
and one near the transom.
Attach mounts (optional)
with 7/8” screws provided.
Shown here is the Scotty®
Baitcaster Rod Holder.
An anchor mount is
suggested for the bow
pad.
Caution:
Do not use
screws longer that those
7/8”,
longer screws will
puncture the boat.
Trolling Motor Bow
Mount (OPTIONAL)
Join the plastic upright
to the board using the
L-brackets and hardware.
The longer bolts (M8 x
60mm) go through the
plastic. Shorter bolts
(40mm) go through the
aluminum board.
Lay aluminum motor
mount board between
the double D-rings in the
bow (front). Run the straps
over board, through the
ring, then back over and
through both rings.
