GENERAL
During assembly/installation, use torque values
and service products as in the exploded view.
Clean threads before applying a threadlocker. Re-
fer to
SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS
and
LOCTITE
APPLICATION
at the beginning of this manual for
complete procedure.
WARNING
Torque
wrench
tightening
specifications
must be strictly adhered to. Locking devices
(e.g.: locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, cotter
pins, etc.) must be replaced with new ones.
Hoses, cables or locking ties removed during a
procedure must be reinstalled as per factory stan-
dards.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The exhaust system is protected by its own cool-
ing system, an opened loop type.
The water supply is provided by a pressurized area
in the jet pump between the impeller and venturi.
Water is directed first through the exhaust mani-
fold fitting located at front of manifold.
Water enters the manifold end and is directed to
water jackets of exhaust manifold.

Water exits exhaust manifold through 2 hoses at
rear manifold.

of the water jacket and mixes with exhaust gas in
the muffler.
