Interconnecting the Displays for Direct
Commands
By interconnecting multiple displays via the RS232 ports you can send commands to control all the
connected displays at once, as well as sending commands to individual displays within the
connection chain.
NOTE:
The RS232 command function is disabled by default.
To protect the connected equipment, turn off the main power switch before making
connections.
To interconnect multiple displays for direct commands via the RS232 ports:
1.
Connect a computer to the RS232 input port of the first display.
2.
Use a 3.5mm cable to connect the RS232 output port of the first display to the RS232 input
port on the second display, and so on for all subsequent displays.
NOTE: Use a 3.5mm cable with a 3-pin plug:

Press the [MENU] button to display the OSD menu and select [
Setting] > [RS232 Switch] >
[
COM Port] to enable the RS232 command transmission function via COM port.
4.
Enter commands on the computer based on the commands list included in the “COMMANDS
LIST” section on page 51.
