MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
The
R
KAU2
superheterodyne receiver allows high reception reliability and good operation even in disturbed areas. Its
sensitiveness and high selectivity make it immune to disturbances in the range around the reception frequency. The receiver operates
with a self-learning logic, thus guaranteeing easy installation and high performances. It is equipped of a box for external applications on
walls.
INSTALLATION
For the receiver’s good operation it is necessary to carry out installation very carefully. The receiver performance does not only depend
on its technical characteristics but it is also a function of the environment’s radio-electrical and ground’s orographic conditions. For best
results we recommend to follow the rules listed below :
a)
Only the tuned aerial supplied together must be connected to the receiver.
b)
Place the receiver to the outside in free air.
c)
Fix the receiver at a higher level as compared to the gate and fences.
d)
Place the receiver far from metal structures
e)
Make sure the aerial is within the radio-control’s optical reach.
Warning : If two receivers are installed, they must be separated by a 5 mt minimum distance.
OPERATION
R
KAU2
is a self-learning 2-channel receiver. It can drive two different applications (ex. automatic gate and burglar alarm) by means
of two no-polarized N.O. relay contacts. The receiver can store up to 127 different codes from the radio controls. Each code can be set
on the desired channel. The memory contents is preserved in absence of power supply. With

two different operation
modes can be set for each code :
Mono-stable:
the relay goes on when the radio control button is pressed, then goes off about 1 second after the button’s release.
Bi-stable:
the relay goes on when the radio control button is pressed and goes off when the radio control button is pressed again.
PROGRAMMING
Inserting a code by means of the P1 key on the receiver
a) Press P1 once to insert the activation code for relay 1 in mono-stable mode.
b) Press P1 twice to insert the activation code for relay 2 in mono-stable mode.
c) Press P1 3 times to insert the activation code for relay 1 in bi-stable mode.
d) Press P1 4 times to insert the activation code for relay 2 in bi-stable mode.
Warning : Separate at least 1 second a push on the button P1 from the following.
After carrying out one of the 4 operations described above (a,b,c,d) wait the lighting of the LED. Then transmit the code to be stored at
least 1 second. On releasing the button the LED on the receiver will go off thus signalling that the code has been recognized and
stored in memory. If the code is not recognized, the LED will remain on for about 10 sec., then it will automatically go off (operation
ended).
Erasing a stored code
a)
Press the P2 key on the receiver for at least 1 sec. When the key is released the LED will light.
b)
Then transmit the code to be erased for at least 1 sec . The LED will go off thus signalling that the code has been erased from the
memory.
Erasing all stored codes
To erase all stored codes (total cancellation) press the P2 key and keep pressed for about 10 sec. until the LED lights.

Il ricevitore supereterodina

garantisce un’elevata affidabilità nella ricezione ed un buon funzionamento anche in ambienti
disturbati. La sensibilità e l’elevata selettività lo
rendono immune ai disturbi presenti nell’intorno della frequenza di ricezione. Il ricevitore
funziona
in
autoapprendimento
garantendo facilità
di
installazione
ed
elevate
prestazioni.
È
dotato
di
contenitore
da
esterno
che
consente
il fissaggio del ricevitore anche su pareti.
INSTALLAZIONE
Per ottenere un buon funzionamento è necessario prestare molta attenzione all’installazione del ricevitore. La portata non dipende
solamente dalle caratteristiche tecniche del ricevitore, ma varia anche in funzione delle condizioni radio-elettriche del luogo e dalla
situazione orografica del terreno. Per ottenere il massimo risultato è consigliabile rispettare sempre le seguenti regole:
a)
Collegare al ricevitore l’antenna accordata fornita in dotazione.
b)
Posizionare il ricevitore all’esterno, in aria libera.
c)
Fissare il ricevitore in un punto più alto rispetto alla struttura del cancello ed alle recinzioni.
d)
Collocare il ricevitore lontano da strutture metalliche.
e)
Assicurarsi che l’antenna sia a portata ottica con il radiocomando.
Attenzione : Non è possibile installare due ricevitori ad una distanza inferiore a 5 mt l’uno dall’altro.
FUNZIONAMENTO
R
KAU2
è un ricevitore in autoapprendimento a 2 canali. Può gestire due diverse utenze (esempio cancello automatico e antifurto)
tramite due contatti di relè N.O. non polarizzati. Il ricevitore può memorizzare sino a 127 codici diversi provenienti da vari
radiocomandi. E’ possibile indirizzare ciascun codice sul canale desiderato. Il contenuto della memoria è conservato anche in assenza
di alimentazione. Con
R
KAU2
è possibile impostare per ciascun codice 2 diversi modi di funzionamento :
Monostabile
: Il relè si attiva alla pressione del tasto sul radiocomando e si disattiva dopo 1 sec al rilascio dello stesso.
Bistabile
: Il relè si attiva alla pressione del tasto sul radiocomando e si disattiva alla successiva pressione dello stesso.
PROGRAMMAZIONE
Inserimento di un codice tramite il pulsante P1 presente sul ricevitore
a)
Premendo P1 per 1 volta si inserirà un codice che attiverà il relè 1 in versione monostabile.
b)
Premendo P1 per 2 volte si inserirà un codice che attiverà il relè 2 in versione monostabile.
c)
Premendo P1 per 3 volte si inserirà un codice che attiverà il relè 1 in versione bistabile.
d)
Premendo P1 per 4 volte si inserirà un codice che attiverà il relè 2 in versione bistabile.
Avvertenza : distanziare di almeno 1 Sec una pressione del pulsante P1 dalla successiva.
Dopo aver effettuato una delle 4 operazioni (a,b,c,d) attendere l’accensione del led. Di seguito inviare il codice da memorizzare per
almeno 1 Sec. Al rilascio del tasto, il led presente sul ricevitore si spegnerà segnalando che il codice è stato riconosciuto e
memorizzato. In caso di mancato riconoscimento del codice il led rimane acceso per circa 10 Sec dopodiché, si spegnerà
automaticamente (fine operazione).
Cancellazione di un codice dalla memoria
a)
Premere il pulsante P2 presente sul ricevitore per almeno 1 sec ; Al rilascio il led si accenderà.
b)
Successivamente inviare il codice da cancellare per almeno 1 sec. Lo spegnimento del led indicherà l’avvenuta cancellazione
del codice dalla memoria.
Cancellazione di tutti i codici in memoria
Per cancellare tutti i codici presenti nella memoria (svuotamento totale), premere il pulsante P2 per circa 10 sec sino all’accensione del
led .
