the shell and liner.
BUCKLE ADJUSTMENT
SCOTT BUCKLES have a threaded micro adjustment as well as the
larger adjustment of its toothed buckle “catches”.

TO ADJUST THE LOWER SHELL BUCKLES
, first be sure that the
foot is all of the way back in the boot, the heel securely in the heel
pocket. Choose a tooth that snugs the boot snugly but comfor-
tably around the foot. Turn the buckle’s metal rectangle clockwise
(tighten) or counter-clockwise (loosen) for fine adjustment.

CUFF ADJUSTMENT
: Choose a tooth that snugs the cuff comfor-
tably around the leg and buckle the cuff buckles. Turn the buckles’
metal rectangle clockwise (tighten) or counter-clockwise (loosen)
for fine adjustment. Then tighten the Velcro® power strap. Flex
your leg back and forth a few times to see if the buckles or Velcro®
strap need further adjustment.

MOVING THE BUCKLE CATCHES:
Skiers with very thin lower legs
who are at the minimum limit of SCOTT BOOTS’ cuff diameter may
want to move the buckle catches inward for a smaller lower leg
fit. You can move the toothed “catch” 15mm inward, a fit that is
approximately two teeth tighter. Moving the catches requires dril-
ling two 5mm holes at their molded marks.
First, remove the buckle catches using a small Phillips-head
screwdriver to remove the screws from each T-nut. Be sure to save
