8.7.2.1 Changing the battery
The Remote Central Locking key fob battery lasts approximately 24 months and is
easy to replace.
To do so, simply remove the three screws on the rear of the fob.
Inside, remove the circuit board and pull out the black rubber battery-holder.
The holder contains two small batteries, stacked on top of one another. Replace
these batteries and slide the holder back into place. Replace the cover and
retighten the screws, taking care that all pieces are correctly aligned.
The batteries required are Lithium Cell CR2016 3V.
8.7.3 Manual Locking
The car can be locked manually by pushing down on the black locking pin located at the front of each door. This will
engage the locks, and they will remain engaged until you lift the locking pin manually.
From the outside you can also use the supplied door key to lock both doors by using the nearside door. Using the
external lock in the offside door will only lock that specific door.
