Symbol guide
Batteries should only be returned in a fully
discharged state. The poles of lithium-ion
batteries must be insulated with adhesive tape.
Valuable raw materials such as zinc, iron, nickel
and so on can be recovered by recycling used
batteries.
The “crossed out wheeled bin” symbol indicates
that disposal of used batteries along with normal
refuse is illegal. The additional specification of the
chemical symbols for lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd)
and mercury (Hg) indicates that these materials
are contained in the batteries in legally permissible
quantities.
Note: Only use the supplied power adapter to
charge the eMag 43 battery.
