LOSS-OF-POTENTIAL TEST

Purpose:

Verify the SET LOP and CLEAR LOP conditions. The following equations
show the SET LOP and CLEAR LOP logic equations.

SET LOP = 47QL * NOT(46 QL)

+ NOT(47P) * NOT (50P)

CLEAR LOP = NOT(47QL) * 47P

Where: 47 QL = 14 V of V2

46QL = 0.083 A of I2

47P = 14 V of V1
50P = Current in any phase over the 50P setting

Method: Table 7.13 provides the voltage and current sets required to create SET LOP and

CLEAR LOP conditions.
