It is
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
that the rangehood be installed centrally over the cooktop.
This will greatly improve its performance.
Minimum height from the cooktop surface to the underside face of the rangehood:
•
600mm electric cooktop
•
600mm gas cooktop
Any installation above 800mm will compromise the extraction performance.
Note:
If the instructions for the gas cooktop specify a greater distance, this must be taken into account.

Measurements are from the top of the trivets to the lowest part of the rangehood, including
the button controls.

To help avoid condensation, particular to cooking with an induction cooktop, Schweigen recommends
a height between 700-750mm. Refer to page 27 for further information.
