Congratulations and thank you for purchasing this Schwaiger product. This
user guide is designed to help you use and operate the device.
Read through the instructions for use carefully. Store this manual safely
throughout the product's entire service life and pass it on to any subsequent
users or owners.
Check that the supplied package is complete and ensure that none of the parts
are defective or damaged.
INTENDED USE
This product is used to play back audio files via Bluetooth
®
or a 3.5 mm jack
cable. The loudspeaker also has a hands-free function. The product is designed
for private use and is not intended for use in commercial or industrial envi-
ronments.
General Safety & Warning Instructions
• This product is intended for private, non-commercial household use.
• This product is an electronic product that must be kept away from children.
• Therefore, keep it out of reach of children.
• The product is not intended for use by children, or by adults with visual or
other impairments preventing them from using it safely. In such cases, it
should be used under supervision.
• Never expose the product to high temperatures or extreme cold.
• Do not intentionally drop the product or expose it to extreme vibrations.
• Do not introduce any objects into the product’s connections or openings.
• Do not disassemble the product into its individual parts. The unit does not
contain any user serviceable parts. Incorrect assembly can cause electric
shocks or malfunctions.
• The product is not user serviceable, and any attempt to do so will invalidate
the guarantee.
For safety reasons and reasons related to official approvals (CE), you must not
convert and/or modify the product. The product may become damaged if you
use it for purposes other than the one previously described. In addition, im-
proper use may result in hazards such as short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
Additional safety instructions concerning the battery
When used properly, rechargeable lithium iron and lithium polymer batteries
provide a safe and reliable source of power for mobile devices. Incorrect use
may cause the battery to discharge, catch fire, explode, or fragment, poten-
tially injuring you or damaging your device.
• The battery is permanently installed in the casing of the product. It cannot
be replaced.
• Never throw the product into a fire as the battery may explode or cause a
flame hazard!
• Do not store, charge or use the product at extreme temperatures.
• Avoid battery overcharge or deep discharge.
• Charge the battery of the product roughly every three months, even if you
are not using it. Otherwise, it may get deeply discharged and become per-
manently unfit for use. The battery does not need to be discharged before
being recharged.
• The battery does not need to be discharged before being recharged.
• The product must not be charged and discharged simultaneously!
• Place the product on a surface which is not sensitive to heat when recharg-
ing. It is normal for the product to become slightly warm when recharging.
• Dead or damaged batteries may cause skin irritation, so use suitable protec-
tive gloves when handling them.
• Leaking battery fluids are highly corrosive, and may seriously damage ob-
jects or surfaces they come into contact with.
Warnings concerning the battery (when leaking)
This product is powered by a built-in lithium battery. In normal use, the battery
is enclosed and protected by the device. If battery fluid leaks from the unit,
follow these safety precautions:
• If battery fluid is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately! Do not
induce vomiting and do not eat or drink anything.
• If you have inhaled battery fluid, go to fresh air immediately and seek med-
ical attention.
• If skin contact with battery fluid occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and
avoid contact with eyes.
• If battery fluid has come in contact with your eyes, immediately rinse them
thoroughly under running water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical
attention.

INITIAL OPERATION
Information on protection type
This product is certified and protected according to IP67.
The first code digit indicates that the product is fully protected against contact
and dust penetration.
The second code digit indicates that the product is protected against temporary
immersion (up to 1 m depth).

Charging the battery
The battery is supplied partially precharged, and should be fully charged before
being used for the first time.
To do this, open the protective cap on the side and connect the supplied Micro
USB cable to the corresponding socket. Then connect the charging cable with
a suitable charging adapter for the charging process. You will need a charging
adapter with at least 2 A output power.
NOTE STATUS LED
While charging, the status LED on the front of the device will light up solid red.
It will switch off once the integrated battery is fully recharged.
FUNCTIONS
Connection via Bluetooth
®
Danger! Radio interface!
Switch the device off in aircrafts, hospitals, operating rooms or in the vicinity
of medical electronic systems. The transmitted radio signals can affect the
functionality of sensitive electronic devices.
Danger! Influence on pacemakers
The magnetic fields generated by the product can affect pacemakers and im-
planted defibrillators. Therefore, keep a minimum distance of 10 - 15 cm be-
tween the product and the pacemaker / defibrillator.
NOTE
Please ensure that you familiarize yourself with the Bluetooth
®
settings on your
player device beforehand, so that you can avoid any potential errors.
NOTE
If your smartphone or tablet prompts you to enter a password, enter "0000"
or "1234".
Process
1. Switch the loudspeaker on with the on/off switch. (You will hear a start-up
melody)
2. The loudspeaker starts automatically in connection mode. The status LED
flashes in white.
3. On your mobile device, open the Bluetooth
®
settings and activate the Blue-
tooth
®
function if necessary.
Wait until "WKLS100" appears in the list of available Bluetooth
®
devices.
4. Connect to this one.
Once the connection has been successfully established, a short melody
sounds and the status LED switches to constant white.
IMPORTANT!
If you have previously connected your mobile device to the speaker and have
activated Bluetooth
®
during power-up, the speaker will automatically recon-
nect to it.
NOTE
You may need to change the audio source to Bluetooth
®
manually on some
smartphones/devices.
NOTE
Music can only be played from one device at a time. You must always stop
playback on one device first in order to start playback on another device.
3.5 mm jack connection
Besides the Bluetooth
®
interface, the product also has a 3.5 mm AUX input. To
use this, connect the desired device via a 3.5 mm jack cable and then switch
the speaker on with the on/off switch.
NOTE
The speaker automatically deactivates all existing connections as soon as a 3.5
mm jack cable is plugged in.
If you still want to play music via Bluetooth
®
, please press the "Mode" button
to switch back to Bluetooth mode.
NOTE
In AUX mode, the volume can be changed on the playback device as well as
using the +/- buttons on the speaker.
TWS Function
This product has an additional TWS (True-Wireless-Stereo) function. This al-
lows two identical WKLS100 models to be connected together.
Connecting two WKLS100:
Switch on both speakers and then press the "Mode" button on both units twice.
The speaker starts then automatically the search mode (the white LED flashes
quickly in blue). When the connection is established, you will hear a beep and
the LED on the front of the device will light up solid blue. You can now control
the speakers in parallel and play music through them.
Reset function
If problems occur or you want to reset the speaker completely, you can do this
by pressing the RESET button on the side. Press the reset button carefully, e.g.
with the tip of a paper clip, for 2-3 seconds until the status LED on the front
goes out.

Disposal
The product is delivered in packaging made of recyclable materials to protect
against damage during transport. Sort and dispose of these materials in the
designated containers. Ask your local disposal company or local council about
how to dispose of the product in an environmentally correct way.
Do not dispose of batteries or electric and electronic devices in the nor-
mal household waste. The consumer is legally obliged to return electrical
and electronic devices, and batteries that are at the end of their useful
life to the point of sale or public collection points that have been set up for this
purpose. The details are regulated by the respective national law. The symbol
on the product, user guide or the packaging indicates this legal requirement.
