Start-up
6.4 Remove sanding discs
WARNING
Risk of injury from needles!
The needles on the media remover can cause cuts.
•
Avoid contact.
•
Wear suitable protective equipment.

Needle stroke is set to 5 mm.
■
The "Retract needles" and "Extend needles" air connections are
connected,

■
The operating pressure for extending the sander should be set
to 0.7 bar.
■
The sander is in the starting position "HOME".
1. Move the sander over the media remover.
✓
The "contact tester" backer pad side which was in contact
with the media checker is sticking out over the media
remover. The opposite "Contact needles" side is positioned
over the needles.

2. Move the sander towards the media remover until the backer
pad touches the remover.
