Operation at 220 V
The initial position of the switch is for 220 V. With the electric circuit closed, the welding equipment operates at
the rated voltage of 220 V. In order to prevent the sudden change of voltage, make sure the screw is well faste-
ned on the left side of the switch so as to “lock” the desired voltage. When performing this maneuver, keep the
equipment disconnected from the power supply.
Operation at 127 V
In order to operate the equipment at 127 V of rated voltage, first disconnect the equipment from the power sup-
ply. Then remove the screw on the left side and fasten it to the right side of the selector switch so as to “lock”
the voltage in 127 V.
Follow the instruction below in order to prevent risk of fire, electric accidents or inju-
ries to the personnel involved in the activity.
• Never turn on the equipment to 220 V of rated voltage if it is set to 127 V. Caution: risk of fire!;
• Keep the equipment disconnected from the power supply while changing the voltage. Adjust/change the
rated voltage during the operation of the equipment is prohibited!
IMPORTANT
Consideration about installation
Before turning on the equipment, make sure the voltage (127 V or 220 V), phase (single phase) and frequency
(60Hz) of the power supply match the values informed on the equipment and on Table 1. Models with two volta-
ges (e.g., 127/220 V) are connected to the highest voltage. To change the operating voltage, follow the procedure
aforementioned. Do not forget to check if the power supply cable has a proper section to stand the input current
required by the equipment, as indicated in Table 1. The power supply must feature proper protection fuses and
circuit brakers. It is recommended:
