Maintenance and cleaning:
Before performing any cleaning or maintenance, unplug the tool from the power grid;
After use, clean the tool with a damp cloth (do not pour water on the tool) and store it in a clean, dry place
protected from moisture and dust. Keep your tool out of reach of children and people unfamiliar with the use of
the equipment.
Transportation:
Do not pull or carry the tool by the electric cord or allow its contact with edges, sharp elements, rough surfaces,
oil or chemicals that may damage its fl exible and insulating properties;
Do not move the tool with the trigger locked in the “on” position;
Repairs:
If required to perform any repair or replacement of the electric motor brushes, contact the nearest Schulz assis-
tance. Original parts Schulz must be used. The use of non-original parts results in warranty loss and may cause
damage to the equipment or injury.
Application advices
1.
Move the tool in straight lines and in the direction of the grain:
a) For fi nishing work on raw wood;
b) For extra-fi ne fi nishing;
c) Never use the same sandpaper on wood and metal.
2.
Recommended grit size for sandpaper:
a) Large – to remove paint and sand extremely hard wood;
b) Medium – to sand hard or fl at wood;
c) Fine – to smooth wood, perform fi nishing jobs on raw wood, smooth surfaces with old paint.
3.
Use different grit sizes when working hard wood:
a) Start with large or medium and end with fi ne grit.
Dust removal
Your tool offers two ways to remove the dust:
1.
A bag can be attached to the dust outlet pipe to receive the dust (item 3);
2.
A vacuum cleaner can be used by fi xing its hose to the dust outlet pipe.
7. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
1. Wastewater Disposal
The presence of untreated wastewater into rivers, lakes or other water receiving bodies may adversely affect
marine life and water quality.

ronmental protection and healthy quality of life in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the current
legislation.
2. Disposal of Solid Waste (large parts and product packaging)
The generation of solid waste is one aspect that must be considered by the user, in the use and the maintenance
of the equipment. The impacts caused in the environment may cause signifi cant changes in the soil quality, water
quality in surface and subsoil and the health of the population, through improper waste disposal (on streets,
