Installation

Preparing for installation
CAUTION:
Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.

Remove the preassembled mounting nut (T) and
washers (R & S) from the spout assembly (P).
□
Before installation, ensure that the flange (Q) is
placed on the bottom of the spout assembly (P).
□
Insert the spout assembly (P) through the hole
in the deck.
□
Secure the spout assembly (P) with the rubber
washer (R), metal washer (S) and mounting
nut (T).
□
Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
□
Clean the mounting surface.
Installing the spout assembly
□
Drill holes in the finished deck as shown in
the diagram below.

This kit allows up to 1-1/4 in. deck thickness.

Installing the handle assembly
□
Remove the preassembled connector (AA), lock
nut (Z) and washers (X & Y) from the outlet
tube (1). Remove the preassembled sleeve (W)
from the handle assembly (U).
□
Before installation, ensure that the flange (V)
is placed on the bottom of the handle assembly (U).
□
Insert the handle assembly (U) through the hole
in the deck.
□
Secure the handle assembly (U) with the sleeve (W),
rubber washer (X), metal washer (Y) and lock nut (Z).
□
Thread the connector (AA) onto outlet tube (1).
