• Do not expand or modify the threads on
the connection lines.
• Seal the threads on the connection lines
correctly: up to 3/4" with Loctite 243, the
remainder with Teflon tape.
Electrical connection
• The mains voltage must match that speci-
fied on the rating plate.
• Electric protection according to technical
data.
• Observe VDE regulations 0100 and 0105.
L
When using extension cords: cable cross-
section: min. 2,5 mm²; max. cable
length: 3 m.
Before first use
1. Carry out a visual inspection.
2. Check the electrical connection.

Operation
Observe the safety instructions!
9.1
Use
1. Connect the compressed air cold dryer to
the mains power supply.
2. Switch on the compressed air cold dryer
at the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 1, item 03).
3. Allow the compressed air cold dryer to
operate for approx. 10 minutes until the
trend indicator reaches the green area.
4. Slowly apply compressed air to the com-
pressed air cold dryer.
9.2
Monitoring unit S7
The monitoring unit indicates the tempera-
ture trend of the cooled compressed air on a
four-colour scale:

9.3
After use
1. Bypass line (if available): slowly set to
the "Bypass" position (see bypass line in-
struction manual).
2. Switch off the compressed air cold dryer
at the ON/OFF switch. Unplug the power
plug.

Maintenance
Observe the safety instructions!
10.1 Before each maintenance
task
1. Shut off the compressed air supply.
2. Remove the right side plate.
3. Press the TEST button on the condensate
discharger to drain the condensate, test
that the compressed air cold dryer is
functioning correctly and depressurise
the unit.
4. Switch off the compressed air cold dryer
at the ON/OFF switch, unplug the power
plug.
5. Perform maintenance.
6. Fit the side plate again.
10.2 Clean the refrigerant con-
denser
1. Clean around the perforated panel on the
housing using a soft brush.
2. If required, remove the housing hood
and clean the condenser directly using a
soft brush.
3. Fit the side plate and housing hood
again.
Green: Functioning correctly
Yellow: Momentary overload
Red:
