9.4 Maintenance schedule
The manufacture recommends shorter maintenance inter-
vals if the medium being conveyed contains solid matter.
The operating company should choose the maintenance
intervals appropriate to the medium being conveyed.
Interval Designation Action
Conveyed fluid Check temperature.
Check discharge pressure. Daily
Tank Check the fill level.
Operating temperatures Check motor temperature. Weekly
Pump Check the pump for leaks and vibration.
Undoable screwed
connections Check the screw fastenings for correct and secure fitting. Quarterly
Impeller Check the impeller for dirt and damage:
–
If the impeller is dirty, clean it.
– If the impeller is damaged, replace it.
Plain bearing Check the plain bearing for damage and change it if necessary
( → 7.2.2 Check the plain bearings and replace them , Page 18).
Housing Check the housing and housing seals for damage and change them if
necessary
( → 7.3 Dismounting, Page 19).
Annually
External magnet Check the external magnet for correct and secure fitting
( → 9.3.3 Installation dimensions, Page 30).
As required Motor Check the motor against the supplier’s documentation and perform
maintenance if necessary
