7.5 End Stop
ATTENTION
If the end stop is misaligned, it may result in damage to the chain hoist
housing
The chain hoist can no longer be operated safely.

If the connection plate at the bottom of the housing is faulty, it must be
replaced.
Check the screw connections at the end stop and clamping piece or lower block and tighten to the
correct torque if necessary. For the standard values, see chapter 7.8.
7.6 Gear Unit
The gear unit is permanently lubricated.
Lubricant
:
Strub HT PU 680
– Compatible and mixable with all other branded lubricants of an equivalent type
(DIN 51502: KP 1 S-20)
Amount of lubricant
: 70 ml
7.7 Sliding Clutch
The sliding clutch protects the chain hoist from overloading and serves the function of an emergency
limit switch for the highest and lowest hook positions. The sliding clutch is based on the DIN EN
14492-2

standard and is factory-preset using the following force limit factors:

The sliding clutch must be adjusted and checked by authorized specialist personnel only
and all settings made and checks performed must be recorded in the inspection book.
7.8 Suspension Components
Suspension components are all statically loaded parts. The contact surfaces of the rotating
suspension parts must be periodically greased.
Tightening torques for screws in strength grade 8.8 in accordance with DIN ISO 898:
