4.3 Handling the System
Only handle the system using the included single-use strap
slings.
Dispose of the strap slings once you have positioned and
mounted the system.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to improper transportation and unloading
This can result in personal injury or material damage.

Only persons who are qualified to drive cranes and hoists may handle and
transport the components.
►
Hoists and slings must have the necessary specifications for the particular
load.
►
Transport materials must be secured in accordance with country-specific
regulations (BAG guidelines in Germany).
►
Wear personal protective clothing.
CAUTION
Load suspension outside the center of gravity
Danger from uncontrolled movement of the scissor arm

Before lifting, lock the scissor arm and avoid sudden or incorrect lifting.
4.4 Transporting the Finished Unit
CAUTION
Transporting the finished unit with unsecured scissor arm
Damage to the safety switch (4S2)

Apply cushioning and straps to the scissor arm whenever you
transport the finished unit (see figure).
Note: When secured for transportation in this way, the industrial
truck can be controlled only from the pedestrian control panel if
positioning corrections need to be made.
