6 Installation
6.1 Safety
6.1.1 Protective Equipment
The following protective equipment is required to install the crane system and for troubleshooting, main-
tenance, and repair work:
•
Protective work shoes in safety class S1 or higher
•
Sturdy work gloves in safety category 2133 or higher
•
Industrial helmet
•
Where applicable, fall protection personal protective equipment (fall protection PPE)
6.1.2 Safety Instructions for Maintenance
The tube lifter must be installed and maintained only by qualified specialist electricians and mechanics.
Personnel must have read and understood the operating instructions.

Working at height without safeguards
Serious injury or death!

While working at height, use suitable climbing aids, a lifting platform, and fall anti-fall
guards.
WARNING
Improper assembly
Serious injury or death!

The tube lifter must be mounted only when de-energized and depressurized.

Before working on the tube lifter, ensure that the crane cannot move.

Ensure that the permissible load of the crane system matches the combined weight and
permissible load of the tube lifter as a minimum.

Ensure that the hoist is in perfect working order.

Only attach the tube lifter via the suspension eye.
6.2 Mounting the Vacuum Supply Hose
See also the operating instructions for the crane system and the hoist.

The crane system is fully assembled, ready for operation and approved in accordance with local reg-
ulations.
ü
The transport trolley for attaching the tube lifter is inserted into the crane rail.
ü
The necessary end stops are fitted to the ends of the crane rail.
