FAQ
SPECS
I hear hum through the headphones, what do I do?
You may have a ground loop. To fix a ground loop, try a GFCI
outlet or a ground loop isolator.
There’s no sound for a while after I turn Lyr on. What’s up?
That’s perfectly normal. Lyr delays the headphone output for
20 seconds after you first turn the amp on.
Can I leave Lyr on all the time?
You can, but it shortens tube lifespan (5,000 hrs = 200 days).
Can I power speakers with Lyr?
That’s not a great idea—speakers require more current than
headphones, and you may trigger Lyr’s internal protection.
Internal protection? What?
Lyr has internal protection for overcurrent conditions. If the
music stops, turn off Lyr and let it cool down for an hour or so. It
should turn back on and work normally after that.
It doesn’t turn on, what do I do?
Plug it in to a different AC socket. Ensure you are not currently
in a blackout. Then call us if it still doesn’t turn on.
