3.7 Install Codestrip 

A.

 

Position the codestrip along the guideline drawn in the step above. 

B.

 

Remove protective layer from mounting tape and apply the codestrip with adhesive 
side towards drum. Ensure there are NO kinks or bubbles when the codestrip is 
applied. Installing the codestrip unevenly or without optimal contact with the 
faceplate may cause motion artifacts in images.
