Step 1
Attach the Burner and Controls Assembly (B) to the
Base Assembly (C) with 4 screws (E). Use Phillips
Head Screwdriver to tighten them (Figure 2). Place the
Operating Instruction label under the control knob for
easy review.
Step 2
Align the 3 Dome holes with the 3 studs protruding from
the burner top, then place the Dome (A) onto the studs.
Attach 3 Cap Nuts (D) and tighten with pliers (Figure 1).
THE INSTALLATION MUST CONFORM WITH LOCAL
CODES OR IN ABSENCE OF LOCAL CODES, THE
NATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE, ANSIZ223.1.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation before lighting
a) Make sure Contol Knob is in the "OFF" position.
b) Open the door to fuel chamber by turning the latching knob
counter-clockwise and pulling on the door.
c) Check regulator inlet and propane cylinder for contamination
such as dirt, webs, etc. Clean if needed.
d) Screw threaded end of canister into threaded regulator inlet
clockwise until hand tight.
IMPORTANT: Use only standard 16.4 oz propane cylinder
constructed and marked in accordance with the U.S. Dept. of
Transportation (D.O.T.) No. 600 connection type. Disconnect
the cylinder when the appliance is not in use.
e) Check for Leaks: Make 1-2oz of leak solution by mixing
1-part liquid dishwashing soap and 3-parts water. Apply
several drops of the solution to the connection between
regulator and propane cylinder.
If no bubbles appear, the connection is leak tight,
continue the next step.
If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Disconnect, recheck
connections and reconnect the propane cylinder.

f) Close the door and secure it by turning the knob clockwise
until latched.
