5.
Two channel with bi-directional trigger on both A & B inputs. 4612, 4618/9
& 4660/75.
'MODE 0' DIL switch ON. 'MODE 1' DIL switch OFF. Input C linked to +ve.
Connect as 4 except that the loop on input B is from Gnd to input B.)
6.
Two channel with bi-directional trigger only on B input.
4612, 4618/9 & 4660/75.
'MODE 0' DIL switch 'ON' and 'MODE 1' DIL switch OFF. Input C must be
disconnected.
If input A is linked to Gnd or Input B is connected to/or removed from Gnd, the
transmission is triggered. It will send ten site/unit code data bits read directly from
the DIL switches plus the state of the A & B inputs. If the inputs are connected to
Gnd at the time of transmission, the data bits A & B will be active (logic 1).
7.
Two channel with B Input configured for tilt switch.
4612, 4618/9 & 4660/75.
'MODE 0' DIL switch 'ON' and 'MODE 1' DIL switch OFF. Input C must be
connected to Gnd.
Connect a push-button from input A to Gnd and a normally closed mercury tilt
switch from input B to Gnd.
If the button is pushed, an immediate transmission is sent with data bit A active
(logic 1). If the mercury switch contact opens, an internal timer starts to run. If the
contact remains open for 14 seconds, the buzzer starts sounding. If the contact
remains open for a further 14 seconds, a transmission is triggered with data bit B
active (logic 1). The mercury switch closing at any time before the transmission,
resets the timer to zero and silences the bleeper. If a B type transmission has been
sent, closing the mercury switch contacts triggers another transmission with both A
& B data bits set inactive (logic 0). This is effectively a 'restore ' transmission. In all
the transmission types, the first 10 data bits are site/unit code read direct from the
DIL switches.
8.
Four channel mode. Four buttons. 4618/9.
Both 'MODE 0' and 'MODE 1' switches OFF. Input C must be linked to +ve
Up to 4 normally open push buttons can be connected as follows:-
Button D from input A to Gnd
Button C from input A to +ve
Button B from input B to Gnd
Button A from input B to +ve
Pressing any button sends transmission that consists of 8 site/unit code bits read
direct from the DIL switches together with 4 data bits DCBA. Only one data bit is
active (logic 1) according to which button was pressed.
9.
Four button/two channel mode. 4618/9 & 4660/75
Both 'MODE 0' and 'MODE 1 switches OFF.` Input C must be disconnected.
Four buttons can be connected as per 8 above.
The transmission consists of 10 site/unit code bits read directly from the DIL
switches together with two b its held in internal A & B memories. The B memory is
turned ON' (active) by pressing button A and 'OFF' by pressing button B. The A
