2.3 Check following before use of the attachment
1. Check that the support wheel (C) is placed approx. 1-2mm/0.04-0.08 inch over the
grinding belt.
2. Check that the vertical centre line on the drive wheel (D) (on attachment) is behind
the vertical centre line of the pipe or tube (F). Can be adjusted by loosening the
handle on top of the attachment (E) and push the attachment forward or backward.
3. Check that the black tool rest on the belt grinder is approx. 15-20mm / 0.6 - 0.8inch
from the grinding belt and the eye shield glass is closed down so the dust is leaded
to the suction canal.
3.0 Operation instruction
3.1 How to operate the machine
1. Start the belt grinder and the Centerless grinding attachment.
2. Check that the drive wheel on the Centerless grinding attachment runs in the right
direction. An arrow on the attachment shows the correct direction.
3. Place the pipe or tube carefully on the grinding belt and press the Centerless
grinding attachment slowly down against the pipe or tube that will rotate in the
