Introduction to NFL/FFP
The Scannel UHF RFID Antenna Series includes the Near-Field (NFL) Antennas for close
range applications and the Far-Field (FFP) for long range applications. Our antenna series
provides high performance in the Ultra High Frequency bandwidth for RFID applications.
Scannel’s antenna designs are developed and fine-tuned by professional RF engineers to
achieve great accuracy in all facets of antenna performance.
The NFL and FFP antennas are designed with a slim profile for easy installation. Each series
has two available dimensions, 150mm and 300mm. The following are the main features of
each antenna series:
1. NFL Series - Multi-region frequency
Precise close range read area
Fine-tuned design to prevent misreads
2. EBD Series - Long range read area
Available in US and EU frequency
