Layout
• Ensure the ceiling is capable of holding the weight of
the product.
• Plan the desired layout of this fitting carefully,
ensuring the cables will reach the distance between
the junction box and light fitting.
• The mains supply cable must have a minimum cross
sectional area of 1.0mm
2.
Existing fittings must be completely removed before
installation of a new product. Before removing the
existing fitting, carefully note the position of each set
of wires.
• See Fig. 1. This product has two outer ceiling fixing
points. Check and measure the distance for the fixing
holes so the fixing cables hang vertically. Optimum
distance between suspension cables is 1100mm.
Ensure the ceiling is capable of holding the weight of
the product. Take care to avoid damaging any wiring or
pipes. Drill the holes and fit the supplied wall plugs.
• See Fig. 1. Attach the suspension cables to the ceiling
by unscrewing the top cable fixing (1) and placing the
screw through the hole. Screw into wall plug in the
ceiling. Reattach the bottom section (2) of the top cable
fixing and tighten to secure in place.
• See Fig. 2. Fit the suspension cables to the product
by attaching the lower cable fixing (3) in place. Simply
screw the lower cable fixing onto the threaded rods at
each end of the pendant. To adjust the height of the
fitting, depress the button (4) located on the lower cable
fixing. Please ensure the suspension cable protrudes
at least 10mm from the lower cable fixing. Ensure that
both suspension cables are adjusted to the same length
so the product hangs level.
• See Fig. 3. Decide on the location of the fixing bracket.
Mark the position of and drill the fixing holes. Take care
to avoid damaging any wiring or pipes. Attach the fixing
bracket to the ceiling with the suppled wall plugs and
