5.1 Frequently Asked Questions
What if the unit stops working during anchor retrieval?
Answer:
Wait 20 seconds as the internal auto re-set circuit breaker will cool and re-set. It’s likely that the unit
has been overloaded so you must insure the rope is free and in the right position at the bow roller (not
wedged between roller & bracket). Another possibility is that the anchor may be stuck on the bottom. In this
case you must move the boat further forward to assist with anchor retrieval.
What should I do if the unit stops working during anchor fast fall?
Answer:
If the unit stop working during fast fall operation, change to standard mode and continue to operate
down. Contact your nearest service agent/dealer for further assistance.
In the down fast fall operation I have over-run the rope and it has spilled over the side of the drum, how
can I fix it?
Answer:
carefully jog/inch the drum in reverse which will provide slack, this allows you or a second person to
guide the rope back onto the drum. Once the rope is in position on the drum reverse the boat and select the
down switch to release the lose tangled rope until the drum appears to be clear of the overrun rope. Then,
retrieve the anchor to allow the natural winding of the rope onto the drum
